It is pure pleasure to see rough, often pebble-looking stones turn into gems... But this Barite cabochon is one of our best transformations! It was found in Gortdrum Mine in Ireland and then polished by our Lapidary Master. It turned from an ugly duckling into a beautiful swan. It has black and white stripes, like a zebra, and an interesting shape of a cushion. With its flat back it`s going to be a perfect candidate for setting in a ring or pendant. But you know what?- if you love Ireland, you can keep it in your pocket as a souvenir, too! :)
