Very beautiful Hydroboracite specimen from Germany, the Kohnstein Quarry, Niedersachswelfen, Nordhausen, Harz, Thuringia. Hydroboracite is a rare mineral that can be found in only a few places around the world, it is a hydrated borate mineral of calcium and magnesium. This lovely specimen measures 5.5cm and weighs 57g. There are small crystals on both sides of the specimen.
